Brief Reviews: BB-102 Screw Capricorne 90MF

So... Screw Capricorne 90MF. I've owned this Bey for a while now, and personally, I really like it.

Although it isn't top tier material or anything, it definitely is pretty good looking, in my opinion, haha.
Anyway, here are some of my thoughts on this Bey. :)

"Capricorne" Face/Facebolt (1.1g):
It's just any other face, doesn't do anything different to other normal Faces. 
(UNLESS YOU WANT TO SUMMON THE CAPRICORN OF FURY MEEEEHHHHH) wait, you can't.

It should be noted though that this Face design is different to its original version where "Capricorne" is written on it.

"Capricorne" Clear Wheel/Energy Ring (3.2g:)
There isn't anything particularly outstanding about this part to make it Top-Tier, although its rigid shape does provide an impressive amount of Upper Attack for a Clear Wheel/Energy Ring, in my opinion.

Aesthetically, I do like the sapphire blue color of this Clear Wheel.

"Screw" Metal Wheel/Fusion Wheel (34.6g):
This Wheel screws the rules (I have money!), screws flying horses, lions, horse-man hybrids, bulls, etc. As you can see, Screw is one of the strongest names in the history of Beyblade.

In all seriousness though, Screw does have quite a decent amount of Smash Attack (at 85 height against 145 height non-BD145 Defense combos) compared to most other right spin Wheels.
And no, it doesn't have upper attack like it's advertised to have. It's Upper Smash or Smash Attack.

While it's probably not good enough to be classified as a top tier right spin Attack Wheel like Vulcan, it is close, in my opinion. Although like all other right spin Attack Combos (especially ones of a low height), Screw is not very effective against MF-H Basalt BD145/230 CS, which are/is one of the most used and effective Defense combos too date.

Away from the competitive side though, I do find Screw's weird, distorted, wave shape to look pretty cool.

"90" Track/Spin Track (0.9g):
Before the appearance of BD145, 90 used to be one of the best Tracks for Attack combos, and it was also a pretty rare part.

Nowadays, 90 is pretty common, and it's uses are pretty much restricted to Destabilizers (e.g. MF L Drago 90WF, Flame Cancer 90SF, etc.) and Stamina combos (e.g. Burn/Earth Bull 90WD/D/SD, etc.). Attacks from 90 height are pretty much completely nullified by BD145 based Defense combos.

At least the pale purple/violet color it comes in is nice, hah.

"Metal Flat"/"MF" Bottom/Performance Tip (1.2g):
Being made of metal, the Metal Flat tip of this Bottom produces less friction to the surface of the BeyStadium compared to normal plastic tips. The main advantage of this is the increased Stamina and higher spin velocity, but with trade-offs of worse balance and decreased movement speed.

I wouldn't recommend using MF for traditional Attack combos where movement speed is the main focus since MF doesn't move fast. But for Attack combos where you aim to Smash the opposing Bey out with your high spin velocity, MF would probably be suitable.

Also, I personally don't find this bottom too suitable for Destabilizers due to the tall and narrow nature of the tip which also tends to have balance issues. Other Bottoms such as WF and XF do a much better job keeping balance and not getting outspinned as quick at the last few seconds.

Brief Final Verdict:
It looks good, and while not having any Top Tier parts, Screw, 90, and MF are quite decent. So if you could get this for cheap, go for it. Otherwise, save your money for other things, like food.
